IS-BAO Auditing

Our principal, Capt. John Froelich, has over 45 years of experience in Professional Aviation.  In addition to Military and Airline Pilot positions, he has worked extensively in the areas of Aircraft and Simulator training, checking and Flight Standards management. As Director of Operations of a major Airline Training Center, he has participated in and overseen courseware development, Train the Trainer programs, ETOPS and special training and FOQA analysis.  He has spent many years working in the Middle and Far East, including Saudi Arabia, China, South Korea and Japan. He also has auditing experience in both Military and Civilian Aviation. He is also an IOSA Auditor for a UK based Audit Organisation.

In the area of Business and Commercial operations, Stocklands Aviation Services and our team can help guide operators through the process of preparing for an IS-BAO Registration Audit, or conduct the audit to obtain a registration certificate from IBAC.

The IS-BAO is gaining acceptance from Regulators, Insurers and customers as a means of assuring that an operator meets Industry wide Safety and Operational Standards. This program is fully in conformity with ICAO Annex 6 Part II, which requires the implementation of a valid SMS for international operators beginning in November 2010.
